Morning! Have you thought about where you actually belong to? I mean, you might be feeling like you don't fit in your home country and there should be better place for you. I always believed Japan isn't the place where I should belong to and I still partly do. That's why I got out of Japan when I was 18 and decided not to go to university in Japan.
After all, I learnt that every country has some flaws and it's not just my country. Although I came back to Japan, I'm glad that I got out of my country at that age. If I didn't, I must have been still thinking "Japan is sick!". Here is how I made my environment more comfortable: I made myself surrounded by like-minded people, people who have similar thoughts. People understand about me. You can change who you'd be surrounded by. This is huge! I said I partly think I don't fit in here. It's the way Japanese people communicate with. They don't tell you how they are feeling or why they did that. So what you can do is just "guess" but I don't think this works. I try to be honest with people but it seems like I sound too straight-forward to Japanese people. If I could move to somewhere, I wanna live in the U.S. because I get along with them and always wanted to live there. I know things are not easy to live in the states especially since after the president changed. It's hard to get business visa as a foreigner and the accommodation price is hiking up in the west coast. I'm not thinking of moving to the U.S. because I don' like Japan or something. The way people take communication with wouldn't change that easily due to historical background and culture. I'll see what I could do after graduation.
See you tomorrow!
