Before I came back to Japan, I was studying Sports and Exercise Performance back in England.
I went for trip to Sweden because I always wanted to live there.
Why? Because I was a big fun of boy's band and my favourite member was from Sweden lol
Not to mention that, I was interested in the Swedish society system.
I stayed in Stockholm first then moved to Idre, south Sweden and I stayed at Swedish person's house via couch surfing because I wanted to see the lives of Swedish people.
He cooked for me, singed for me and took a skiing place by a car although I didn't try lol
I asked him to take me to a local gym. I can't remember the price but it was public gym and I don't think it was expensive. I was astounded. It is because I would never see those equipment at public gyms in my home country. Also, I tried one gym in Stockholm and that was so great. It had three floors and specialised in free weights. I felt in love with the gym.
When you are traveling, the most difficult thing is follow the map and get to the place. It is even harder if you don't have internet connection. Also, when you compare gym, you would usually need to visit each gym's website and it can be cumbersome. If you were traveling to different country, there is a chance that the websites are not in English. I hope Gym In Japan's website is helpful to you. See you next time!
