Traveling

How many countries have you traveled? For me it's Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Taiwan, China, Germany, Spain, Austria, US, UK, Sweden and Japan! lol I particularly like Thailand and I've been there twice.

I visited Thailand for the first time when I was 19. My English friend told me that he was traveling around Asia for a half year. Around that time, I had time because I graduated my vocational school in March and starting college in England in Sep. So I decided to travel with him. We decided to meet at Don Muang airport in Bangkok. That was the first time backpacking for me. He wanted to go to non-tourism places so I followed him. That was the full of adventure!! We chose to stay at small island called "Koh Kood". It was a really small island. Main business at this island was fishing.

One day, we were stuck at restaurant due to heavy rain. I was so scared that if I could go back to our hotel, however, local people were enjoying the rain!! They jumped into the sea/ sing and dance!! We didn't understand languages each other but I enjoyed watching them. Thai people are friendly and kind. Even if they don't understand English, they try to help travelers and the motives are not like taking money or selling something to you. When I go for traveling, what I enjoy the most is the interaction with local people.

Last time I went to Thailand, I stayed with a Thai family. I met one woman in Hanoi, Vietnam and she was such kind to host me at her house. She lived with two children and her husband. She owned a small restaurant. She and her husband took to me to a historical place called Ayutthaya. I pretty much enjoyed playing with her kid. She was 10 and so adorable. She tried to teach me Thai and she sang for me. I felt like that was the best moment in my life. I still take contact with this time and I always go back to Thailand and see this family.

I was a bit chubby around this time lol
