Morning! These days, I have a lot of chances to meet various kinds of people. For instance, last Sunday, I had a meeting with an owner of vegan restaurant. He used to be a fire fighter for 7 years and he saw people committing suicide or getting cancer. Then, he noticed that people in Japan were not happy. So, he decided to open a restaurant and provide healthy food to make people happier. Interesting right?
Another person I met on Sunday was from New Zealand. He used to cruise-ship and do personal training sessions and even he was a personal trainer for a royal family in Kuwait! He gave me a trial session and I learnt stretching and he did some phsyio. What he told me was whole new idea for me; looking at good sides about body alignment/myself. Normally, when you go to physiotherapy, you are told what's wrong with your body or where hurts. He told me 'You are alright and by starting with those stretches, you can get back to training". On the following day, I started with eating breakfast and doing some stretch while I'm working.
Also, yesterday, I met one young personal trainer. I knew the owner and he was in "People you may know lists". I saw his post and he was visiting Hawaii. He posted feeds about the difference between Japanese and Hawaiian gyms. I was simply happy to see people around my age advocating their opinions. We decided to meet up and talked over dinner. Then I found our he has a nice goal/ambition. So I told him that I can teach him English. He was flattered then told me "Let me do something in exchange". Then one idea came up to me. I knew a website called "Coachup" and they had ambassadors for this website. So I asked him to be an official ambassador!! We will go to some places together and I will video him training or eating at restaurants and I teach him English once a week.
I really look forward to Gym In Japan's journey.
See you tomorrow!
