School and work

Updated: Mar 1, 2018

Hello!

As you know, I am a business student. My course is pretty small and there are only 8 students excepting me! There are Filipino, American, Malaysian, Taiwanese, Chinese, Indian and me Japanese! Although I am now back in Japan but I am the only Japanese in my course lol

It is interesting to study with people from different countries. For instance, when we did a presentation in distribution class, each student introduced about the distribution system in their mother country.

Also, my classmates are studying Japanese and I sometimes help them. I was not sure about what I was doing for a while because my close friends study at universities in the U.S., Australia, U.K and Canada. I felt like I was the one who gave up studying abroad and came back to my country.

I can't remember when exactly I changed my attitude but I think it was around when I started this project, Gym In Japan. My Japanese and English skills are very useful for this project and I felt like I found the meaning of me coming back to Japan. I mean if I were in the U.K., my Japanese skill would be rarely useful and my English is not as good as British.

I am still a second grade student. So there is two years and a half to graduate.

What do I wanna do after graduation? Since I found providing service to foreign visitors interesting, I could carry this on.

However, if you ask me what I REALLY want to do, then I would say working for a fitness tech startup in East coast in the states. I don't believe this is a easy thing to achieve since there is a visa issue. However, if I were successful with Gym In Japan, there is a chance that I can start working for a startup in the states after graduation.

So for now, since I am living in Japan, my mission is to help foreign visitors coming to Japan!!!

Thanks for reading this!
