My best friend

Hello! Yesterday, I met my best friend from vocational school in Tokyo. Because she doesn't look like a Japanese, so the first time I met her, I was kind of scared of her. She looked strong-minded and smart lol She was one of the student who sat in the front line in classrooms and listened to the teachers carefully. She was rather quiet and solved problems by herself. On the contrary, I always asked so many questions and spoke out lol I always wondered how she tackled problems without asking. We became best friend because both of us wanted to go to top university in Japan but rather decided to study abroad and struggled with lots of rules in Japan.

When I started this school, I was the top student but I noticed she might be smarter than me. She was not willing to tell me how she studied & improved her English. I studied so hard to get better score in English test than her. So much effort. Like, I studied only English for 13 hrs a day during summer holiday. Everyday for 3 months. I was the one who always showed off when I had good results in exams or English tests. However, she was the one who hid one's success. I always looked up to her. Because she always looked calm and made the best decision. She had interest in international relationships due to her complex cultural backgrounds. At the same time, she loved aviation. She wanted to study aviation at university, however, her mother didn't agree with her. So she decided to study IR at King's college. She said to me one day that "I will study aviation after I graduate from university and be a pilot. That is my dream." I thought how she'd do with finance. I mean, going to a pilot school costs quite a lot.

One day she came back to Japan for holiday and she told me "I applied to governmental programme to be a pilot". Then she passed lol That was astonishing. I asked her yesterday if things were not upsetting for her and she said, "I thought everything will be alright and it worked out!" I wish if I were mentally stable like her. She is going to move to west Japan for her training. I always look up to her and look forward to her success.

See you tomorrow!
