Morning! So, I told you yesterday that after my grandmother passed away, I lost all the motivation to study and no university to go. One day, my mum told me, "You were always good at English. You should make the most of it!". She suggested me to go and have a look at one vocational school in Tokyo. I was interested in cosmetics and stuff so I was thinking of studying makeup at this school.
When I looked at the booklet of this school, I found study abroad course and I found "Equine studies" at New York state university. I was astounded. I found out that I can study about horses as a degree. I told my parents that I wanted to study Equine management at foreign university. They said no. Here my argument with my parents started and it lasted for a half year lol I cried everyday but I really didn't want to give up.
I belonged to a science club at Tsukuba university (famous for researchers) and one day, I had a presentation contest and I got the first prize. I told my parents that I did really well when I got home and they told me that "You can study abroad". I didn't understand why they said "Yes" at that moment, but now I think they wanted to see how much effort I can make for the things I like.
After I graduated from high school, I entered Japan College of Foreign Language, study abroad course. I was the top student when I got in and got out and received scholarship (half tuition fee reduction). That was the most challenging year for me.
I will talk about this tomorrow! Bye for now :)
