I told you a story about my fitness life the other day. Looking back, I couldn't enjoy eating out with my friends or going our because I followed strict diet. I logged every food I ate on MyFitness pal and I used food scale when I could.
However, I decided not to put too much attention on how I look. Of course it was not easy at first. I always felt ugly in the mirror and I asked my friends if I looked ok. Here is how I stopped thinking about how I look. I started telling myself that I can eat anything I want and anytime I want without feeling guilty. I noticed that if there were specific that you decide not to eat, you crave them and end up eating them. And this makes you feel guilty. That's why I started telling myself that I can eat anything. Gradually, I started losing weight and over the half year, I think I lost almost 22lbs. Due to my knee injury, I couldn't workout but I decided to walk a lot. Actually that was fun. I tried to reach 10 ,000 steps each day ( I simply used my iPhone's health apps to check my steps).
Also, I stopped weighing myself. I don't know how much I weight but I know that I look good. So if you are struggling with how you look, you can follow two things:
1. Tell yourself that you can eat anything. You can put clothes that makes you attractive.
2. don't weight yourself. Feel that you look good.
