GO ABROAD

Hello there! I met up with my dad and we talked about "Future for Japan". It is expected that Japanese population will decrease by 50% by 2050. As a business person, I think this is serious problem. Because a lot of Japanese companies are only focused on Japanese market. What will happen if the population decrease? Companies will earn much less money right?

So what's required for Japanese companies is "Going abroad".

The only way to grow company is to go for foreign market if domestic market shrink. For me, it seems to me that a lot of Japanese companies are still not aware of this. SERIOUSLY. This is happening. Also, a lot of foreigners started working in Japan. Do you know what this means? Japanese students will need to compete with multi-linguistic people. I see loads of students/young people who only speak Japanese. However, I see this as a HUGE problem. At least they NEED to speak English. Otherwise, it will soon get difficult for Japanese people to find jobs within this country. As you know, I go to Japanese university. I am in English degree and I'm the only Japanese in my course. Sometimes, I have A chance to talk to regular Japanese students. It is a fact that a lot of students can't speak English and they are not aware of this.

What I'm also aware of is AI. So if young people were with no skills, they can be replaced by AI and they can't get any jobs. It will soon start from service industry. Like basic job where things can be automated. I want young people to be more aware of future and what to do with their lives.

What I wanted to tell:

1. "Go abroad" for Japanese companies

2. Don't choose jobs that can be replaced by AI.
