Cultural differences

Hello there! As you know, I'm a Japanese and I brought up in Japan. Both of my parents only speak Japanese. However, since I had a lot of chances interacting with people from different countries, my way of thinking is not so called "typical Japanese".

There was time when I was trying not to behave like Japanese like what I wear, listen and watch. When I was in England, or after I decided to study in England, I tried to behave&talk like English lol Now I'm back to Japan and I study with 6 different nationalities in my class at uni. At the first moment my classmates saw me, they said "She's not Japanese at al!!!".

Maybe there are typical behaviours for certain nationality but I rather recently believe it's more to do with how you are raised up and the environment you were surrounded by. Recently, people tell me that I'm like an American. I think it's to do with my way of thinking. I'm pretty straight-forward and I'm more like Yes or No. It's interesting that I speak British English but my personality is like American huh!

See you tomorrow!
